Friday was Grandpa Cherry's funeral. It was a beautiful sunny day and so many family members were there. I really appreciated the Relief Society sisters from Grandma Cherry's ward, they offered to have nursery during the funeral. It was so nice to be able to sit and listen to the funeral, Colton almost made it the whole time before he had a meltdown.
After the funeral we all drove to Ammon for the graveside service. Grandpa Cherry served in the Army in Korea and the military honor guard played taps at the graveside service.

The Idaho Falls Temple was on the way back to Blackfoot so we stopped to see it. Unfortunately the temple being renovated and we couldn't go inside the gates. We still had fun walking around and going into the visitor's center.
I'm not sure the people in the visitor's center appreciated our crazy children but I am glad they were able to visit another temple. Grandpa Cherry worked in this temple for many many years.
We walked along the Snake River enjoying the sunshine and letting the kids work out a little of their energy. I wanted to take a picture of the girls with the temple in the back ground but Eva refused to turn around.
We had a great time catching up with Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We were a huge group and the 26 great grandchildren ensured there was always chaos but it was fun to be together.
