Back in January Ally noticed she had an adult tooth coming in. For some reason it made me really sad, it made me realize how quickly my little girl is growing up.
The odd thing about her tooth is that it was coming in behind her baby teeth, instead of under it. I wasn't that worried but of course I did a little research. Turns out it isn't that uncommon and is sometimes referred to as "shark teeth". She must take after me because that tooth is slow to come in. After three months the tooth is pretty loose.
Thanks to Ally's obsession with my phone I had many selfies to show just how loose that tooth is.
Daddy decided he wanted to speed things along and he somehow convinced Ally to let him pull it out. I wasn't so excited about pulling it out but she wanted to so we went for it.
Excited for the tooth to come out!
Steve came up with the idea to tie the string (floss actually) to our stomp rocket and the rocket would pull out the tooth. Ally started to get a little nervous but Steve quickly shot off the rocket. For a second we all thought it had pulled the tooth out (even Ally), but the string had broken and the tooth was still in place.
Somehow Steve talked her into trying one more time. This time he was just going to pull on the floss, but once again the floss broke. Not sure if we have weak floss or her tooth is just really strong. We decided that the tooth just wasn't ready to come out yet, and that even though it was really loose part of the root must still be connected.
