Saturday we planned a fun family day at a pumpkin patch in Kelseyville. Steve got off work, the weather was beautiful, we took the long way to enjoy some beautiful fall colors. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the pumpkin patch we saw they were out of pumpkins!
Not letting that deter us from a little fun we enjoyed the kid sized corn maze.
Ally loved exploring the different paths and had fun hiding from us.
Daddy and his girls
The Cherry girls
It is hard to get two girls looking at the camera, much less smiling at the same time! Despite the picture these girls were having fun.
At the pumpkinless pumpkin patch we heard about another pumpkin patch in Lakeport and we thought we would give it a try. While they did have pumpkins they didn't have very many so we headed to Safeway where we found some really nice pumpkins.
After the store we headed to Library Park for some fun at the playground. I really like this park, I wish it were closer!
On the way home we stopped at a pizza place where we enjoyed the warm weather on their patio. Steve and I laughed at how almost all of our plans fell through but we still had a fun day.
Monday night we carved our beautiful Safeway pumpkins. Allyson insisted on a scary face, even after I showed her some pretty cute kitty pumpkins. She tired really hard to carve her own pumpkin.
In the end our pumpkin expert, daddy, helped her out. Love her smile here.
