Four years ago today our beautiful Allyson Rose finally decided to join our family (after being in the hospital for about 2 1/2 days). Her first few weeks of life were not quite as we expected (see here) but we are forever grateful for our beautiful Ally girl.
She is so tenderhearted and sensitive. Once she finds out someone is hurt or sick she must know all the details, then she will think and talk about the injury/sickness, always hoping the person will get better (they are often included in her prayers...in great detail). I love how sensitive she is, though at times it may be more emotion than Steve can handle.
She keeps us laughing with the funny things she says, she keeps us on our toes with the endless and persistent questions. She has a ridiculously good memory. I've learned not to question her memory, she is usually right, and if you have promised to do something she will remember.

Happy birthday to Allyson! And to you on becoming a mommy four years ago. It's weird and fun to get to know you through the Internet. Maybe we'll be able to meet in person one of these days. Hope you all have a super fun day!
