Girls Trip

A group of girlfriends decided we wanted to have a girls weekend.  After a lot of planning and some rescheduling we finally made it happen (hard to get all our schedules to align) and we had an overnighter in Roseville.  We had so much fun we forgot to take pictures, this was the only one we took.
I was excited for a fun getaway but I was nervous about leaving the kids.  I was worried about Steve getting all the kids out the door by 8am for Ally's T-ball game (no easy feat).  I had to let go a little and just (try) not to worry, and of course everything was just fine. Steve's parents came over (and stayed the night) with Cameron and Jackson to watch Ally's game.  Sadly the game was cancelled because of rain (but not before everyone was already loaded up in the car!) but they had fun playing.
The girls weekend was so much fun, I am really glad we all made it happen.  We went out to dinner, caught a movie and jumped in the hot tub before staying up way too late talking.  It was some much needed girl time.  The next day we were all a bit tired from our late night but we had to get moving to make our massage appointments.  Getting a massage was a first for me, but hopefully not the last!  After our massages we hit up the mall for some shopping.  All too soon it was time to head back.  I had so much fun with these girl, hopefully we can make it happen again!
