1 Month Old

Allyson is already 1 month old, so crazy. At least she has now spent more time at home than in the hospital.
She loves her swing. The only thing she likes more is being held.

Some pictures while she is awake

Saturday I was feeling the cabin fever setting in. I hadn't left the house since Tuesday and that was for a dentist appointment. So we ventured out to the park for a walk in the beautiful fall weather. I think Allyson was awake for the first 1 minute of the walk before she fell asleep.

10 years

My 10 year class reunion was last weekend, due to a very cute little girl I was unable to attend. Luckily I was able to meet up with these girls for breakfast the next day. Jenine, Katherine, Me, Allison
It had been way too long since I had seen these girls, it was so good to catch up.

More Allyson

Grandpa finally got his turn with Allyson

Both of us taking a much needed nap

Allyson loves having her hands up by her face:
This is her favorite sleeping position, we call it the "Touchdown!" position.

She loves sucking on and playing with her hands.

Striking a pose, the one arm up pose, usually followed by the touchdown! pose.

What Allyson has been up to...

Allyson meeting Uncle James (he is very excited to finally be an Uncle).

Tiara and Jimmy couldn't wait to meet their new cousin Allyson.
Allyson and Uncle Brandon finally got to meet.
Grandma Cherry and Allyson

Allyson's first bath, she wasn't so sure she liked it.

Luckily it got better wrapped in a warm towel.

Both Allyson and I are doing a lot of sleeping these days.

A rare moment with her eyes open.

Home Sweet Home

Yesterday we finally got to come home, no more hospitals for us (hopefully). Thank you to the "welcoming committee". Here is the last two weeks of our lives in summary. We went to the Hospital Oct 21st to be induced. Allyson was finally born 5:22 pm Friday Oct 23rd. You can see a picture here. We had a few hours with her before the nurse noticed she was having respiratory problems.
So on Saturday she was transported to the Napa hospital where she was put in the NICU because she had pneumonia. We were lucky enough that I was released from the hospital so I could go to Napa with her. We were also fortunate to be able to stay in the Hospital right across the hall from her. It was very scary but thanks to the prayers of everyone and the wonderful doctors and nurses, she is much better.

With all her tubes and wires, as she got better she got to get rid of them slowly.

Heading home from hospital!

First time in the sunshine.

Doing what she does best, looking cute and sleeping.
