Wednesday morning Ally woke me up when she came in my room crying. She said she said her tummy hurt, I got out of bed as quickly as I could and rushed her to the bathroom. We made it just in time. Poor girl had the stomach flu. While she was throwing up she was so upset and told me "I don't want to go to school", I assured her she was staying home and didn't have to worry about being sick at school.
Between visits to the bathroom or using her designated bowl she was her happy normal self. She didn't have a fever but she couldn't keep anything down. We watched a lot of shows, and even played some Go Fish when Eva and Colton were napping.
Aly insisted that she wanted to sit in the bean bag chair on top of our chair. While I was making dinner she was reading books and fell asleep. She took a much needed nap, and didn't even stir when Colton threw a major fit. Thankfully it was just a 24 hour flu and she was feeling better the next day. I was really nervous that we would all get the flu, and I was even more worried when Eva drank from Ally's sippy cup before I could stop her. We are crossing our fingers that we all stay healthy!
