T-K Performance and End of School

Ally has had such an amazing experience in Mrs. Carter's T-K class.  She has absolutely loved every day.  The few times she was sick she was so upset that she had to miss school.  She has learned so much both academically and socially, she is more than ready for Kindergarten next year.

Ally's class put on an adorable program with songs, poems and playing their song flutes.  The kids were all so excited to perform for a very packed room.  Can you see Ally in the back row?

Singing their 5 senses song.

Ally received the "Best Friend" Award for being a friend to everyone, even when some people weren't nice to her.  I am so proud of her, she truly is a loving girl and she is always trying include everyone and help those who seem sad.  Such a sweet tenderhearted girl.

Ally was lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents come to her performance.  I was also lucky to have them all there.  In the middle of the performance Colton started throwing up and just didn't stop for about 20 minutes.  I have never been so thankful to have so many extra hands.  Linda whisked Colton away, Bob took care of the throw up filled stroller, my parents kept an eye on Eva and I kept recording the performance for Steve.
I have no idea what Colton had, once he stopped throwing up he slept for a while and then was back to normal.  We are glad that he had the 24 minute bug instead of the 24 hour bug.  These kids are always keeping me on my toes!

Ally really wanted to do something special after her performance so we headed to the Big Chill for some frozen yogurt (or ice ceem as Eva calls it).

We were so glad Nana and Papa were able to come before the headed off to Idaho to see Owen and Katelyn.

Ally's fan club! We love our Ally girl so much.

Mrs. Carter, Ally and Eva on the last day of school.  I can't say enough how amazing Mrs. Carter has been,  I am not sad that school pick up and drop offs are over I am sad that Ally is done with T-K.  I am not half as entertaining as Mrs. Carter and not as smart (just ask Ally, she told me Mrs. Carter knows everything).

I am so sad that Eva's spring birthday means she won't be eligible for T-K.  I am not sure who misses school more, Ally or Eva.  Eva loved taking Ally to school and picking her up, she loved seeing all the other kids in Ally's class.
