Howarth Park

All summer we tried to make a trip to Howarth Park happen, in the last week before school we finally made it work.
First we walked around Lake Ralphine, it was a nice little trail (even if it was pretty dusty).  The girls had fun running along the trail, finding treasures and even spotting a turtle in the lake.  By the end of the trail Eva was dragging a little but she finished strong. After our walk we snagged an open picnic table and had lunch while we waited for Grandma and Papa to join us.

The carousel was very popular with the Cherry kids, we rode it at least 5 times.

I love their cute little train, I liked it more than the train at Train Town.

The Animal Barn was so much fun.  The kids loved being able to pet all the different animals.

The kids working in the barn were so nice and I was impressed with how knowledgeable they were.

After riding the rides and seeing the animals (including watching the horse rides because I was too cheap to pay money to have them walk in a tiny circle) we ventured over to the playground.  I love how many different parts there are to the park, so many fun things to do.

We successfully wore out all three kids with a very fun day.
