Comstock Christmas

After we finished Christmas morning at our house we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to continue the Christmas fun.  Everyone was anxiously awaiting our arrival so the present opening could begin.
My mom found this ninja turtle on ebay, exactly like the one (that had previously belinged to  Marshall's) that Ally lost in the fire.

Colton was so cute, he loved ripping into the paper and generally having fun.

I loved these superhero costumes the girls got!

Ally is really into superheros and Eva likes them because Ally likes them.

There were so many fun and thoughtful gifts.  Sarah remade the amazing fort kit she had given Ally a few years ago, the girls were so excited for that.  Marshall and Beth made me cry over the box of books they gave me, some old favorites replaced.

James and his family got the girls a bunch of T.W. Burgess books, I love them!  My parents used to read these to us when we were younger, I can't wait to read them with the girls.

The girls also got brooms and dustpans, they were so excited!  I am excited that they each have their own (hopefully less fighting!) and hopefully they will do some cleaning.

As usual there was a fair amount of craziness.  Wes brought this chicken mask, as well as an Obama mask.  Poor Colton was terrified of them both, and so of course he was teased many times.

We attempted family pictures, my children were less than thrilled and not very cooperative but at least everyone was in the picture!

After the group pictures were all done Colton and Eva decided to cooperate, they were just happy no one was holding them anymore.

The grandkids
Even with the big age gap these cousins have so much fun together.
