Swimming

Saturday was a fun filled day.  After our adventure at the fire station we headed home so the girls could get naps before we headed over to my Aunt Kathryn's for more fun.  My Uncle Glen and Aunt Norma came out from Utah so we all got together for a BBQ and visiting.  It was so fun to see them, and fun to see family that lives close but we don't get to see often enough.

Allyson was so excited to swim in Aunt Kathryn's pool.  She has a beautiful pool that has been well used over the years.  I remember many family parties and hot summer days spent playing in her pool.
Despite her excitement Ally was a bit timid in the water.  Uncle Marshall and Aunty Beth helped her gain her confidence in the pool.  When they first tried to get her to jump into the pool from the edge she would only put her toe in the water.  By the end of the evening my cautious girl was swimming all around the pool completely by herself.  She is quite the little fish!

Catching a ride with Aunty Beth

She loved playing on the steps and looking through the goggles at the sparkles on the bottom of the pool.

This little fish had lots of fun and put on a repeat performance Monday night swimming all around the pool all by herself.  She loved the pool almost as much as she loved the audience!
