Gardening

After haircuts we headed out to Grandma's garden to help her plant some pumpkins.

This year Colton is old enough to run down the hill just like his sisters.

These kids had fun digging and smoothing out the dirt getting the bed ready for planting.  Colton was especially exuberant about digging and we had to trade out the shovel for the rake.

They had so much fun planting the pumpkin seeds, it will be so much fun for them to pick out their pumpkins for Halloween from pumpkins they planted!
I am glad we got to do a little gardening this year.  I miss having my own garden.  We could put in a garden at our rental house but I didn't want to spend any money putting in raised beds and an irrigation system for just one year.  Luckily for us we get to enjoy Grandma's garden!
