The Party

We celebrated Allyson's birthday on Saturday with family and friends at my parents house.  Allyson was so happy and kept telling everyone she was "du".  I was happy she kept her birthday headband on.

Allyson got so many fun gifts, she is a lucky girl.  The Dora bag was the first of many Dora presents.  Ally was in heaven.

She was definately spoiled during present time.  She had a hard time moving on from each present, she wanted to stop and play with it right then.  I felt bad trying to rush her, I would rather she appreciate each present but I also didn't want to be opening presents for 3 hours.  We got her a wagon that should bring us lots of fun times in the future.

Grandma and Grandpa Cherry got her this adorable picnic table, I love it.  It has daisies and ladybugs on it.

The Barn Cake with cupcake animals

I did a lot of internet searching, getting input from friends and I decided on this cake.  I loved it, but I knew it would be a lot of work.  It was truly a group effort, I think everyone helped with some part of it, especially Beth.  I absolutely love how it turned out, worth all the work.  I loved how Allyson made all of the animal noises for each of the cupcakes, her favorite was the sheep.  I think she mostly liked eating all the marshmallows.
