Mowing

Spring has be beautiful here, lots of warm sunny days and tall green grass.  I love watching the grass grow, Steve doesn't appreciate it as much as I do.  He sees all the work it will take to mow it all (which is a lot of work!).   It always makes me sad when it is time to mow, but it has to be done before everything dries out.

We had a beautiful carpet of red clover this year, they were so pretty.

I love all the wild sweet peas that grow around our house.  They are just starting to bloom, and luckily most of them don't have to be mowed.

Ally and Eva had so much fun "helping" daddy work in the yard.  They ran around and properly wore themselves out.  Here Eva thinks she is going to run the mower (when if fact she runs the other way when it is going).

The girls did help with picking up all the sticks and moving them to the burn pile.  I loved how Eva carried one stick at a time!

Ally used her wheelbarrow to haul her sticks to the burn pile.  It was such a beautiful evening and the girls were in heaven running around working.  I love that they get to make these memories and that they enjoy working in the yard.
