Early Saturday morning (though not as early as we had planned) found us on the road to Oroville, We were going to spend the weekend celebrating Miles' 1st birthday and helping with a tree removal Brian's house.
The girls were excited to see their cousins and Nana and Papa.
The kids had so much fun together. Every time I came outside they were doing something different fun. Alia told me that before we arrived Cameron and Jackson were negotiating who got to play with who. In the end it was determined that Cameron and Allyson would play together (they are best friends) but to make up for it Jackson got to play with Eva and Colton.
This John Deere must be pretty tough, all four cousins managed to squeeze in. I love how the older cousins are in the back leaving the younger ones in front to drive.
Eva was having fun on this cute little 4 wheeler, she thought it was pretty cool until they brought out the real thing.
Steve and Ally got to go first.
Eva was up next, she was very serious as they got ready for their ride.
Eva loved the 4 wheeler, Steve said she kept trying to steer. Watch out for this dare devil!
Colton had fun trying out Miles' saucer, he was in heaven. This little man is just so cute.
That evening we had a little part to celebrate Miles' first birthday
Miles was so cute opening his presents. The older kids were all crowded around waiting to see what he got. The box of tissues was a hit with all of the kids. Miles loved pulling all the tissues out and the kids had so much fun throwing them all around. It is good to remember that something so simple can be so fun.
