Ally has really been wanting to go camping lately. Before we all got sick Steve had talked about getting the tent out and camping on the lawn. Finally the day came where the weather was warm enough and it wasn't a school night, time for camping!
Ally helped Steve set up the tent while Eva was napping. Both girls had so much fun playing in the tent. They were running and dancing around inside of it.
Of course to make the camping experience complete we roasted hot dogs over the fire pit for dinner.
Eva is not a fan of hot dogs (or meat in general) so she happily ate left over mac & cheese for her dinner.
Ally learned the fine art of roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. It was fun to have dinner around the fire pit, not something you think about doing in February. After dinner and dessert it was back inside to get everyone ready for bed. Allyson and Steve headed out to the tent to watch a movie before going to sleep.
Eva and I came out in the morning to see how our campers were. Eva really missed Ally not sleeping in their room. I was worried Allyson would get cold in the night, but she was toasty warm snuggled down in the sleeping bag. Allyson liked using my sleeping bag so much she tried to talk me into giving it to her, no such luck.
