Ally has been wanting to go camping forever and my parents wanted to take their trailer out one time before our family reunion. Scheduling was tricky but we found a couple of days and my parents took Eva and Ally up to Jellystone for some camping fun. Two years ago my parents took Ally and she still talks about it and points it out whenever we drive on Bottle Rock Road. She was so excited when I told her Grandma and Papa were taking her back to Jellystone.
Ally helped Grandma and Grandpa set up camp and we brought Eva up after her nap and we all enjoyed dinner together. The weather was amazingly cool for July, making the camping even more fun.
The girls were so excited to go on the hay ride after dinner. Eva was fine until she say "Daisy" bear, she didn't want to get anywhere near her. After some coaxing she managed to get on the hay ride (giving Daisy a wide birth). During the ride she warmed up to Daisy and by the end she was saying hi to Daisy.
After the hay ride it was time for dessert.
This is also when Ally started asking when I was leaving. We did leave right after dessert leaving Ally and Eva with Grandma and Papa. They were brave to keep both girls.
Bath time in the trailer, the "tub" is the perfect size.
The girls in their bed looking cozy and ready for bed. Unfortunately Eva put Grandma and Papa to the test, not going to sleep until 11pm! Grandma was not so happy that I packed Eva's glow worm, she kept turning on the music over and over and over.
The next day played and played. Ally loved riding on these carts.
When she got tired she joined every one else on the bigger car.
The paddle boats were a hit again (though that water looks a little questionable).
I think the girls had the most fun in the pool, they swam and swam.
Eva turned into a little fish and was swimming all around the pool. Maybe even a little too brave.
Such fun times, and now we are all ready (and properly worried about Eva) to go camping for our Comstock Reunion.
