Eva's Birthday

Even though we had already celebrated Eva's birthday on Saturday we still had to celebrate the actual day.
Eva got to go to story time on her birthday.  She mostly tolerated her birthday girl pin and wore her birthday girl headband for a little while.  I was the reader for story time and so we sang Happy Birthday to Eva at the end.  She loved it, she was pretty cute.
I love the outfit she picked out (true I helped her but it was mostly her choice).  I love that she picked out heart (ba-bo in Eva language) sandals.  This girl loves shoes, but she is also extremely particular about them.  I never know what she will tolerate wearing, many a cute shoe just sit in her closet because she refuses to wear them.  Thankfully the heart sandals are a win!

Ally had some very specific ideas of what she wanted to give Eva for her birthday.  She wanted to get her a barn with lots of animals to play with. While I love having farm toys I was hesitant because we already have 3 barn sets.  I loved how much thought Ally had put into her idea so I searched Amazon and came up with a compromise and found this magnetic animal hide and seek.  When I showed Ally the new idea she exclaimed"that is exactly what I was thinking of!".  For the record Ally knew what she was talking about, Eva loves her barn animal magnets.

The big present from Steve and I was a bean bag chair!  Now Eva can watch movies in her very own bean bag chair, just like Ally.

I think she likes her bean bag.  I love that grin.

Colton tried out her bean bag chair and gave it his seal of approval.

I had a lot of fun making this moon cake.  It was pretty easy and turned out pretty close to what I had in mind.  This girl loves her moon and stars.

I just love how her face lit up when we sang to her (and she joined in the singing).

I think this girl had a pretty fun birthday.  We love our 2 year old Eva!
