As much as I hate packing bags and packing the car I was glad we got to spend Christmas with Steve's family. Ally was almost as excited about going to Nana's as she was for Christmas. We got to Uncle Brian and Aunt Alia's house just in time for Christmas Dinner.
I love how cute Eva is sitting in this picture. She really got the hang of opening presents, in fact she opened all of hers, most of Colton's and a few others. She loved it.
I don't even know what is happening in this picture, but you get a glimpse of the fun.
We were all excited that Uncle Brandon was home from school. The cousins all love their Uncle Brandon, he is lots of fun. I loved how he was the master babysitter always helping out with the kids.
One night we had a gingerbread decorating contest. One team made a gingerbread train and the other team made a gingerbread robot. The team Eva joined was at a significant disadvantage, she ate all the Kisses before anyone noticed. She was a big fan of the candy.
Jackson had a lot of fun helping with the gingerbread train, which was my favorite (but I am biased since I was on that team).
Allyson and Cameron had a blast decorating and eating the robot.
One day Linda, Alia and I had a girls day (well the girls plus Colton of course). We headed to Sacramento for some shopping at Ikea. It was a fun day, and nice to shop without a gaggle of kids in tow. The kids had a pretty fun day too, Allyson loved her daddy daughter day and eating lots of chicken nuggets.
Colton was a trooper, he just went along with our many late nights and bouncing back and forth between Nana's house, Uncle Brian's house and our other adventures. I do think we wore him out he fell asleep laying on Nana's couch.
The last day we were in Oroville the men folk made homemade pizzas for dinner. I had to take a picture to document this momentous occasion.
We packed as much fun and visiting in as we could. We came home tired but with lots of fun memories.
