Fire season is in full swing, it is definitely early this year. Steve had been working at a station in the off season but he still went through all his gear to double check everything before he officially started. Allyson loves to see his gear and to try on as many things as she can.
Steve started her out with his structure helmet, it is lighter (and much cleaner) than his wild land helmet.
Here she is in the wild land helmet. It is pretty heavy but she wears it much better than she did here (near the end of the post), where she could barely hold her head up. Two years makes a big difference
She wasn't satisfied until she got to wear the goggles too. She is so proud of her firefighter daddy!
