4.21.14 I went into Ally's room after she had gone to bed to put a few things away. I caught her sitting up grabbing books to read in her bed. She immediately said "Sorry mom, sorry sorry sorry" and then started to cry. Such easy discipline when I don't even have to say anything. The hardest part was not laughing, she is a little me. I used to get in trouble for the very same thing. Though it is not the worse thing in the world to read in bed, I don't want her to get in the habit of staying up super late (she is already a master at stalling bedtime).
4.22.14 Eva was crying from Ally's room, Ally reported Eva pinched her fingers in a drawer. She then reported that it was ok she helped Eva get her fingers out because "I take care of my baby sister".
4.23.14 Ally asked if we got to take all our things with us to Heaven or if they had to stay on earth. I told her they had to stay on earth. She was so surprised and and said, "well maybe I can take one toy". I had to inform her that no she couldn't even take one toy, she was very disappointed and said "well what about froggy blankey?".
"We still get to go to the park? Usually we don't get to go to the park when I make bad choices." As we were on our way to the park after Ally had a royal fit when I told her not to put her paintbrush (with watercolors on it) in her mouth.
I made the executive decision that the park would be a good change of scenery for all of us, despite the bad choice.
5.1.14 "Mom we seriously need your help in here " Eva was getting into the art supplies (which Ally claims ownership of)
5.30.14 "Well that is unpleasant" after she spilled her smoothie at dinner.
5.31.14 "Isn't that impressive?" After showing of a very creative dance move.
