Here is the second annual "how Devin & Ally celebrated the 4th" see last year here.
Sunday night Allyson and I enjoyed delicious ice cream and watched the fireworks at the Britton's (Steve was still at work).
These two were having so much fun they kept getting distracted from their ice cream.

Brianne brought out the glow sticks as we waited for the fireworks, they were a hit!
Allyson and Devin really liked the fireworks, even if they both needed to cuddle during the show.
The morning of the 4th we attended the annual breakfast at The Allreds (including Steve this time!). The food and company were wonderful as always. Allyson and Devin enjoyed the swing. Allyson even had Rich pushing her for a really long time, she loves to swing.
After the breakfast Allyson and I both took a nap before we headed to my parents for some swimming and a BBQ. Nana and Papa Cherry joined us for the BBQ.
We headed to Calistoga for the Fair and the fireworks. Allyson wanted to know what the 4th of July was ("what is? is her favorite question these days) so I explained it the best I could, it was America's Birthday. Allyson loved saying "Happy Birthday America!".
We loved the fireworks show and Shaved Ice. It was another fun 4th with family.

Ha! So true about the post being all about Devin and Ally. Ours will be the same :) And I'm stealing the pics of them swinging.
