Alternate Title: How Devin and Ally celebrated the 4th.
We had a very fun filled 4th of July weekend where we celebrated our Country in the usual ways, family, food, friends, swimming, and fireworks.
On Sunday we got together with a bunch of friends to watch the fireworks in Hidden Valley. The kids had fun running around and playing while we waited for it to get dark. Devin and Ally were so cute playing with each other through the door.
These two certainly have a lot of fun together. Sunday was also Allyson's first day going to Nursery at Church. I have been a bit of an overprotective mom and so she started Nursery at 20 months instead of the traditional 18 months. She loved it and did great so all is well and more fun is in store for her.
Monday morning we went to the 3rd Annual Allred 4th of July Breakfast and it was wonderful as usual. Ally and Devin were looking so cute sitting on the back of the Redford's golf cart. Of course I couldn't get a picture of them both looking at the camera.
Here Ally was giving Devin "loves", it is a little hard to do when you are sitting next to the person. Rumor has it these two even kissed during the fireworks Sunday night. We will definitely have to keep an eye on them!
After a much needed nap (for Ally and for me) we headed to Calistoga for delicious BBQ and fireworks at the fair.
Ally enjoyed pushing around Devin's stroller, it was pretty funny.
Enjoying shave ice while listening to The Hot Rod Band, waiting for the fireworks to begin. Allyson was pretty tired by the time it got dark and even fell asleep for a while. She did wake up for the fireworks but she was so tired.
Two nights of fireworks in a row will just wear you out.

haha, love the alternate title. Glad I'm not the only one who only takes pics of the children :) Totally stealing some pics btw, hope that's alright! Thanks for letting Devin enjoy the 4th with Allyson, he seriously has been asking for her every day since!
