Christmas Morning

Christmas morning came, and not too bright or early for any of us.  Steve and I were both up before any of the kids were even stirring (thank you Colton for the Christmas present!).

Steve stood by the girls door and starting talking about how he thought Santa had been here and suddenly Ally was in the hall all smiles.  Eva however wasn't moving a muscle.

Finally we got Eva awake, she wasn't so sure about waking up.  I love how our kids sleep in, I have a feeling we are completely doomed when they become teenagers but I will enjoy it while I can.

We made Ally wait in the hall until Eva was ready to join in the fun and both girls came running into the living room.  Ally found quickly found the Transformers Santa had left for her.  She was thrilled that he brought her two even though she only asked for the helicopter one.
Allyson always surprises me with her Christmas wishes, they are always very unique and nothing I would ever guess.  We have never seen any Transformer movie or show but they play Transformers at school and she has played with her cousins Transformers.  None the less she was thrilled with her Transformers and loves playing with them.  She couldn't wait to take them to Oroville so she and Cameron could play Transformers together.

Eva was so cute running into the living room where she promptly got distracted by the cookie plate that had been left for Santa.  Apparently Santa left a few crumbs on the plate (really not many) and Eva made sure to take care of those first.  Once she was done we showed her to the presents Santa left for her.

.  Santa left a new swing for Eva, a cow that moos and a horse purse.  This girl loves cows (a girl after my own heart).

I love how she is holding onto the play phone she got the night before from Grandma and Papa, she hardly ever put it down.  A favorite present for sure.  It was so fun having Christmas morning in our house, I loved seeing the smiles and hearing the giggles of Christmas fun.

Soon the girls set to exploring stockings.  Eva dug right into her mandarin, literally, she poked a hole in it and started drinking the juice.  After that she dug into her mini Oreo's and didn't eat much else.  She even preferred her Oreo's over my cinnamon rolls, silly girl.

Colton woke up and joined in the fun like the agreeable baby he is.

The girls were excited to show Colton his presents and they were more than happy to play with them for him.

After breakfast for everyone we moved onto opening presents.  It was fun to watch the girls opening their presents and to open the presents they gave us.

Eva was very particular with cleaning up the wrapping paper.  Each little scrap of paper had to be thrown away one at a time as she ripped presents open.  She also made sure to pick up everyone else's paper as well.  So helpful this funny girl.

Eva truly loves shoes, she was delighted to get some new church shoes.  She immediately started to take off her pajamas in an effort to put her new shoes on.

Colton slept through the present opening in his swing.  His sisters happily opened his presents for him.

We then packed up our car and headed to Oroville for more Christmas fun with Steve's family.

Glad you had such a wonderful Christmas. Looks like a fun time. Eva's personality kills me.
