Santa!!

I bought these shirts quite a while ago and stashed them away until Christmas time.  I almost forgot to pull them out!  Thankfully I remembered in time for the girls to wear them to the Ward Christmas party.  I think they looked pretty adorable.

These two love each other so much, and here Eva is happy hugging her sister.  Hugging is usually not her thing, especially if the hug lasts longer than 5 seconds.

Our Ward party was great this year there was a great turnout and lots of fun was had by everyone.  Of course the highlight of the evening was a visit from Santa Clause himself.  Allyson was so excited to see him, I love seeing Christmas through her eyes.

Eva and Allyson waiting their turn to see Santa.

Ally jumped right up on Santa's lap and waited for Eva to join her.  Eva was not so interested in sitting on Santa's lap.  In fact there were many "No, no no's !" accompanied by tears and an attempted retreat.

Ally sat on Santa's lap and asked for a Transformer, the helicopter one.  This girl always surprises me with her Christmas wishes.  She is so confidant that she has been good and that she will be getting a Transformer she is already planning on taking it to Oroville so she can play Transformers with her cousins.

Eva was interested in the candy that Santa gave out after kids sat on his lap.  It was hilarious to watch the inner battle of her fear of Santa but her desire for the candy.  The Candy won out, only slightly.  After much encouragement she managed to walk up to Santa, just close enough to get her bag of candy.  I wish I was on the other side of her so could have gotten a picture of her face, she was crying big tears.

She had already started to recover as she got away from Santa and started opening her candy bag.  Poor girl, we didn't have much sympathy for her and Ally just couldn't understand why Eva didn't want to see Santa.

Colton didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap at all, he quite enjoyed it.  Ally thought it was funny that Eva was so scared but Colton was just fine.  I am not sure what Colton told Santa he wanted for Christmas, I guess we will have to wait for Christmas morning.

Poor Eva stayed backed into a corner until Santa left.  She wanted to stay as far away as possible from that scary Santa.  She was more than happy to say "bye bye" to Santa as she left.
