This year we got to spend Thanksgiving in Oroville with Steve's family. It was a wonderful time documented by absolutely zero pictures. The day after Thanksgiving we decided to head up to the forest to get our Christmas Tree. We hadn't planned on getting our trees until the next weekend, but Bob was off work and the weather was beautiful.
My parents were unable to join us this year, my mom is still recovering from foot surgery and wasn't up to traipsing around the mountains in search of the perfect tree. While we missed them, it was fun to have Brian and Alia join in on the fun.
Brian was the first to find his tree and he picked out this beautiful (and ginormous) tree.
After Brian cut down his tree I spotted our tree, it had been hiding behind the tree Brian picked. Steve made short work cutting down the tree using Brian's new chainsaw.
Our tree! We will have to shorten it a bit before we bring it in the house, but I love it.
Allyson, Jackson and Cameron had a blast running around and playing. Somehow Allyson managed to find the one mud puddle to play in.

Eva was a good sport in the backpack, she enjoyed being outside and we managed to keep her pretty warm.
