I didn't do a very good job of documenting Thanksgiving this year, too much fun combined with a sick little girl left me with very few pictures. At least until I steal pictures from my mom's camera!
Allyson had so much fun with her cousins, Aunts and Uncles. The Saturday before Thanksgiving Allyson spent the night at Grandma and Papa's house while Steve and I went to the BYU game (it was fun, but a disappointing game!). Ally got to have her first cousin sleepover, sharing a room with Tiara and Jimmy. Unfortunately she decided she didn't want to do much sleeping. Rumor has it she stayed up WAY later than her cousins, and then woke them up at 7:30am (earlier than either of them wanted). Silly girl.
Jimmy and Tiara helped me make these adorable acorns what we used to decorate the Thanksgiving table. They were really easy, the hardest part was finding the snack size nutter-butters (or was it not eating the nutter-butters!).
Poor Allyson woke up early Thursday morning with a fever. She didn't feel good and her fever kept going up and down, getting as high as 103*. While the rest of the family helped set up for the community Thanksgiving Dinner Ally and I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I had never watched the whole thing before. She spent all morning on the couch until I put her down for a much needed nap.
She was feeling a little better after her nap, we decided to head over to my parents for Thanksgiving Dinner. I was glad I had already made my contributions to the dinner the night before. Allyson rested on the couch and ate crackers while Steve and I took turns eating. I was a little tired and grouchy at the point, but glad I was still able to spend Thanksgiving with family.
Friday Allyson was starting to feel better. We sent Steve to help with the family work party filling my parents wood shed. When it was time for Family pictures Allyson's fever was gone and she was feeling better.
The minute Allyson got out of the truck she starting running, tripped and got her pants muddy! Oh well, she is still cute.
This girl loves the 4 wheeler, she loves getting rides with Daddy and Papa (who are always willing to taker her).
Cousins!
Grandma and Grandpa with the grandkids.
Not the Thanksgiving I had in mind but a fun one with family none the less!

Being sick on any occasion isn't fun, especially with a fever. I'm glad you got a little family fun in there anyway.
