Saturday we bundled everyone up and headed up into the forest to get our Christmas Trees. It was sunny but very cold. We were all excited to get our trees in the snow this year. Unfortunately along with snow there was a lot of ice. They don't plow the roads all the way to the top and there was lots of ice on the road. Besides the ice there were lots of people trying to drive on the ice, and not everyone was being smart. Instead of trying our luck on the ice we turned around (much to Linda's relief) and looked for trees below the snow.
While we didn't find a great Christmas tree spot it was still pretty in the forest. The kids had a blast running around exploring.

I was so happy that Eva wore pants and her jacket! It helps that she calls this her Elsa coat because it is blue like Elsa. I think she looks adorable in her jacket with her princess skirt. This girl is too funny (and often times very frustrating!).
Sadly the jacket didn't stay on the whole time, but after the jacket came off she got a little cold and decided she might wear her gloves.
It was really hard to find a tree this year, very few choices. Luckily Steve kept looking and we found a tree.

Eva makes me so happy. She sounds like she has quite the personality. The family picture is so great, and I love that Eva has her boots on the wrong feet!
