Idaho Part 1 -Twin Falls

This year for spring break we headed to Idaho for our Cherry Family Reunion.  I was very nervous about making the long drive with our three kids.  That is a lot of time in the car.  Thankfully they did great. Our first day driving we made it all the way to Elko (farther than I thought we would!).  Just as we were checking into the hotel Colton had a major blowout, must have been time to stop.  The next day we only had a couple hours of driving, so nice.

Our first stop was in Twin Falls at Kevin and Emma's house, where Brian's family and Bob and Linda had already arrived.  We invaded Kevin and Emma's house with our fun and chaos, with a total of 6 kids 5 and under things are just crazy.

The kids had a blast playing together.  Eva was absolutely in heaven running around playing with (or following) everyone.  She learned a new word, "guys".  She always wanted to be with the "guys" and doing what they "guys" were doing.  She wore herself out each and every day going non stop trying to keep up with all the cousins.

Colton was such a great little traveler.  We had one rough night, the first night in Twin Falls, after that he did really well.  We even managed to get in naps here and there.

On Monday we went out sight seeing around Twin Falls.  While we were at Shoshone Falls we met up with Steve's Uncle Jeff, Aunt DeeAnna and cousin Rachel who came into town from New Mexico.
We went to see the Perrine Bridge that goes over the Snake River Canyon.  This is a very impressive bridge, you ware way above the river.  We walked out to the middle of the bridge, it was a little nerve racking with so many little kids and the bridge shaking as semi trucks passed by, but the view was beautiful.  This bridge is a popular spot for base jumpers, we were lucky enough to see some one jump while we were there.

The kids had more fun playing underneath the bridge sliding, running around and generally being crazy.

Monday night we had a quick FHE roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.

Eva found a new friend in Rachel.  She had so much fun with her, and Rachel was so good to play with her (and all the kids).  She was a huge help to all of us moms.  Extra helping hands are always welcome.

Tuesday we took the kids to an indoor bounce house place.  The kids were pretty lucky they had the place all to themselves.  It was the perfect place to let them run around and wear themselves out.

Eva wasn't so sure about all the bouncy things, I don't think she liked feeling unbalanced.  She still had a lot of fun running around and watching all the other kids playing.

The ball pit was a big hit.
Jackson (3), Cameron (5), Miles (1), Ally (5), Katelyn (4)

Eva wouldn't join in the group picture, I could barely get her to go into the ball pit.

Kevin and Emma are so lucky, not only is their Church building two blocks away but they have a temple 5 minutes away.  We drove by the temple every time we headed into town for any shopping (Emma is a lucky girl, there is a Target and a Costco in Twin Falls).

We finally stopped to visit the temple on Wednesday on our way out of town.  It was a very windy day but the sun was shining and it was a beautiful spring day.

We had so much fun visiting and spending time with family.  Steve really enjoyed being able to spend so much time with his brothers.  After our fun in Twin Falls we were off to Blackfoot to visit more family!
