Easter

The day after we got home from our Idaho trip was Easter.  The kids all slept in (yay) since they were still exhausted from all the fun we had had.  Before we put the kids to bed the night before we set out their Easter Baskets (really, I almost forgot though) and the Easter Bunny came and left them some fun treats.

The girls were of course excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought.  Eva really wanted to play with the bubbles but it was cold and rainy so I kept trying to distract her with other things.  This went on all morning, when we finally went outside I forgot to bring the bubbles.  Oh well.

This Easter happened to fall on General Conference so we watched the morning session of conference while the girls played.  It was so nice to be able to enjoy conference at home, especially since we were still recovering from our travels.

Between session of conference we headed over to Grandma and Papa's for some Easter fun.  Grandma and Papa had colored eggs and the Easter Bunny hid them for Ally and Eva to find.  Ally was so excited for another Easter Egg hunt and Eva was mostly excited because Ally was excited.

Eva is obsessed with shoes, but mostly Ally's shoes.  She prefers her shoes 4 sizes too big (at least).  I wish she had never learned the words "too small", I hear it all the time even when things aren't too small.  Eva insisted on wearing Ally's Frozen boots and I eventually gave in and let her.

I am not sure why Ally is making such a sad face, but I love Eva's smile.

Proof that Ally wasn't really sad.  These girls had fun running around finding eggs.

After our egg hunt we watched the afternoon session of conference and both Colton and Eva fell asleep (thank goodness, naps were oh so needed).  My mom cooked a delicious Easter dinner that we all loved.  I just love these adorable bunny glasses my mom got for the girls.  So fun.
