There was a break in the rain on Saturday and the girls wanted to go outside. I sent them out with Steve while I fed Colton. I could hear them having a lot of fun and grabbed the camera to get pictures of them having fun. I wasn't prepared for all the mud I found on these girls.
Ally wasn't too bad, just a little mud on her face and legs.
Eva was an entirely different story, she was so muddy! Ally told me how the made mud castles and threw mud balls at each other. They had so much fun together.
I have to admit I wasn't thrilled about all the mud. The part that really got me was that they were running around in their socks! Eva heard me asking why they didn't have their shoes on and she quickly tried to put her boots back on. It didn't last and soon she was running around in her muddy socks again.
After taking a few pictures Eva got a mid-day bath (she was so dirty) and all the muddy clothes got washed. Ally could tell I wasn't too happy with their muddy adventure and said "but aren't you happy we had fun?" That made me try and stop being so upset about the mess and enjoy the fun these girls had together.
