We had a fun Halloween, made even better by having Steve home with us. I was happy for the extra help and I was glad he got to join in on the festivities.
Ally ready to go to school
Ally decided quite a while ago she wanted to be a witch, so I made an executive decision and both Ally and Eva were witches. Before Colton was born I wanted to make sure I had costumes ready to go for everyone this year. I was worried Ally might change her mind and want to be something else (you know maybe Elsa...) but thankfully she stuck with being a witch, and she was a cute one at that!
I searched for quite a while before Colton was born to find a costume for him. There were lots of cute ideas but in the end I settled on the classic (and super comfortable) skeleton.
Colton's first Halloween was pretty uneventful, he slept through most of the festivities
As Ally was getting ready for school Eva wanted to put her costume on too. She was so excited, it was pretty adorable. Eva wasn't thrilled with wearing her hat, that and it was past time for a nap. I still think this is a pretty funny picture.
We managed to all make it out of the house on time to see the Halloween parade at Allyson's school. We were glad the rain had stopped, it was really fun to see all the kids in their costumes. Allyson got to have a Halloween party in her class and came home with lots of fun Halloween treats.
Our two little witches.
Eva was a little dangerous with the broom, she kept swinging it around.
We were able to get Eva to wear her hat for a little while, and it is just so cute.
The girls had so much fun trick or treating. Somehow Eva came back with less candy than Allyson. Steve thinks she might have been grabbing the candy out of her pumpkin and throwing in on the ground as they walked. Who knows. In the end they both came back with plenty of candy. It was a fun day and lots of sugar consumed, Halloween was a success!

Adorable witches and little skeleton! They are all super cute. Loved seeing Colton with his eyes open. He's a doll. Also, love the pic of Eva crying. It's perfect. Glad Halloween was a success.
