My Girls

I thought I should document some of the funny things my girls are doing before we add a boy to the mix.  These girls are so busy and so much fun, they keep me on my toes for sure.

8.28.14
Ally: "Eva you are a disaster!" as Eva completely empties a drawer of things for the new baby

8.29.14
Eva's words:  "men" for Amen at the end of a prayer.  juice, heavy on the ju sound (for any beverage really), this is usually said very emphatically

9/1/14
Eva loves her baby dolls, her doll is her favorite toy.  She loves to carry them around and give them kisses.

9/3/14
Eva has been obsessed with the finger puppets lately, she carries them around in this little shopping bag and pulls them out, puts them back over and over again.  She also carries the shopping bag all around the house.  She loves to be carrying a bag or purse.  She is my little girly girl.

9.9.14 Eva says"shoes"  heavy emphasis on the shhh.  She loves shoes.  She has very definite opinions about her shoes and is particular about which ones she wears.  Heaven help me!
Just the other day she has started bringing me my shoes when we are getting ready to go somewhere.

9.14.14 Eva says "hello" over and over and over again, and she loves to repeat it after you say it.

Liberal application of Cherry Chapstick

9.15.14  Ally was talking about how sometimes it is confusing at school because there is another girl named Allison.  I told her she should talk to her teacher about calling her "Ally" and she told me "well we already discussed that".  Ok then.

9.24.14  Eva gets into everything! I have baby proofed the kitchen after I got tired of cleaning up dumped boxes of pasta.  Tonight I caught her digging in my purse (she climbed the step stool to reach it) while chewing 3 pieces of mint gum, wrappers and all.

9.25.14  After Eva's snack bowl was empty (she was wandering the kitchen/dining room with it) she walked over and put it in the sink!  That I know she learned from her big sister, and I love it!  So cute to watch her stand on her tippy toes and just barely push it over the edge into the sink.

10.5.14 While doing some last minute cleaning the night before induction Steve and I couldn't figure out why our steam cleaner wasn't working.  After some troubleshooting Steve saw something shoved way in one of the crevasses.  Long story short we pulled 5 finger puppets out of the steam cleaner, compliments of Eva.

Cowgirl Ally

We spent one Saturday morning sorting Ally's clothes, putting away the small ones and filling the dresser with the next sizes.  Ally was a good sport trying on lots of things to see how they fit.  She was thrilled to find a pair of pink cowgirl boots that fit.  She put together this whole outfit and loved running around being a cowgirl.

Wearing her sunbeam crown from Nursery

While Eva turned 18 months just this month she has been going to nursery for about 2 months.  Just one of the advantages of being in a small ward.  Over the summer nursery attendance was sparse and the nursery leaders took pity on me trying to be Relief Society President and chasing a toddler around.  Eva loves nursery, she has so much fun with the other kids.
