On Labor Day I took advantage of Steve being home to tackle a long overdue project. My parents took the girls to the park and to lunch while Steve and I completely emptied Allyson's room and deep cleaned it in preparation for moving Eva in. I may have also taken the opportunity to "sort" through some of Ally's toys.
While I could have come up with many more fun things for us to do I was excited to finally get it done. Eva has to move out of the nursery to make room for Baby Boy Cherry. While Eva really has no idea what is going to happen I think she will like being in the same room as Ally. Allyson is so excited to have Eva move in with her. I am glad she is excited and I hope the enthusiasm will last.
After we took every last toy, stuffed animal and precious scrap of paper out of the room we gave it a thorough cleaning. Steve also installed new closet doors, replacing the old bi-fold doors to give us a little more room to arrange furniture.
Grandma and Papa brought Eva home after their lunch date so she could have a nap, Ally got to continue her fun grandparent time riding her big wheel bike at a different park.
After her nap Eva wanted to join in the cleaning fun. She loved playing with the webster, and looked so cute walking around "cleaning".
Stopping to check herself out in the mirror, such a girl.
It was a long hot day of cleaning but I was so happy to get it done. Not that Eva has moved in yet, but at least the heavy lifting and cleaning is done.
