Allyson spent an afternoon at my parents house, she loved helping Grandma water the plants with the watering can.
Steve built Allyson a soccer goal for the lawn. It is made from PVC pipe, he found the net online.
I think it is such a cute goal and she loves playing with it.
A few weeks ago I got a new calling, I am now the Young Women President. With that comes fun weeknight mutual activities. The first combined activity I went to was trap shooting out at the Ranch. I figured Steve would have fun there so we made it a family activity.
Since there was so much shooting going on we wanted Allyson to wear ear protectors. We thought she would hate them, we were wrong. She loved them and didn't want to take them off, she called them her "helmet".
She even got to ride the 4-wheeler out with Daddy.

The Young Men were significantly better, but they have had a lot of practice at Scout Camp.
One afternoon after shopping with Grandma at the Nursery we headed to the Jolly Kone for ice cream. This girl is her daddy's daughter, she prefers her chocolate ice cream over vanilla.
I think we will be spending a lot more afternoons at the Jolly Kone!
