Allyson has been working hard at standing up unassisted. She does this cute stance with her butt up in the air and then she stands up all by herself. She is getting quite good at it and will "perform" when we ask her to stand up. I think she really likes all the excitement and clapping once she is up.
However, today she learned that standing can be dangerous. She was trying to stand up for Daddy and got a little off balance, her little forehead hit the edge of our coffee table. Steve was trying to get a picture of her standing, but instead we have the action shot of the impact.
The collision, you can already see Allyson was not happy about this development.
Sad little tear.
Her first knot on her forehead, it is a big one and perfectly centered.
By the end of the evening she had forgotten the pain and was even willing to practice standing again. As you can see she is pretty proud of herself. Don't you just love her wide stance?

Poor girl. Her first bump on the head. I remember those days. They always forget and do it again. She is one smart little girl for her age. Love all the pictures.
Aw Devin and Ally are twins right now! Devin has a nice purple bruise on his head too :) She is such a big girl standing up!
OH MY GOODNESS!! That looks so painful! Poor poor ally!
