More Allyson

Allyson has started prefacing things with:
"I'm going to tell you a funny story and you will laugh..."
or
"I'm going to tell you something that will make you sad..."

Ally cleaned her room while I was at work, I asked if Daddy helped her clean "No I cleaned my room because the toys were all over the floor and I didn't want to step on them".  I hope this will last for a while!

"I got  very bloody owie.  I have an owie just like papa."  After she fell and ripped open a previous wound on her knee.  It was indeed very bloody.  Thankfully she managed to survive.

"It was sure nice to see him."  When Rich came to borrow the apple picker.

"I choked on my juice but I didn't die."  She has been very obsessed with death lately.  I think she is mostly trying to understand the concept.

In the car listening to the radio, the Lee Brice song Parking Lot Party came on.  Allyson asked if it was a song about a party, I said yes.  She said "I wonder if they are being careful?" I asked her why, "because they are in parking lot, they have to be careful of cars".

One day when I was putting her down for her nap she said "Last night I heard a noise outside and got scared so I said a prayer and the noise stopped."

When I got home from work Allyson was updating me on her morning,  she said "the kitties were making such a ruckus outside, for real!"
