This last weekend we packed in the Christmas fun. Friday night we went to the Kelseyville Light Parade. We've had lots of friends and family go in the past and we were finally able to make it ourselves. Allyson was so excited to go to the "Christmas Show", even though she didn't really know what it was going to be. She talked about it all day on Friday.

We happened upon Santa (or Ho Ho as Allyson calls him) before the parade started, Allyson ran right up to say hi. So nice to get in our Santa visit without the line!
The parade was really fun, Allyson LOVED it. She kept patting my mom's head saying "grandma, grandma, look! look!"
Also pictured is "micey" Allyson's new favorite stuffed animal. We ventured into one of the Churches looking for a bathroom and to Allyson's delight they were giving away free stuffed animals to kids. She was so excited.
Saturday we had our ward Christmas Party where Allyson had another chance to talk to Santa. She was so excited she ran right up to him and was the first kid on his lap. She told him she wanted "micey's mommy and daddy" for Christmas, good to know. She had so much fun talking to him she even took a second turn.
As Santa was saying goodbye she started to worry, in her most desperate voice she said "but where are the presents?". All this Santa bringing presents talk got a little mixed up, we clarified when Santa actually brings the presents.
