Christmas Eve was filled with last minute preparations and running around to make sure everything would be ready for the big day.
Papa corralled these three kids with a show to keep them occupied before dinner.
We all enjoyed the traditional strawberry waffles for dinner. I love the kids table, full of fun and mischief.
We attempted a re-enactment of the nativity. Jackson was baby Jesus, Cameron and Allyson assumed their roles as Joseph and Mary and Katelyn was an Angel.
It was a bit rough. Baby Jesus kept trying to escape the manger, Mary insisted she was a Sheep not Mary and the Angel was a bit upset.
After the two younger kids were put to bed Cameron and Allyson got to open one present. They both got books!
After a bath (where Allyson learned a bit more about the difference between boys and girls...very traumatizing) and Christmas pajamas they set out milk and cookies for Santa.
