A Very Cherry Christmas

The entire Cherry Family made the trek to Oroville to be together for Christmas. Ironically we were the last to arrive even though we are the closest! I think the speaker in Church said it best when she said "Linda Cherry is the happiest person in the room right now", the Cherry Family took up the whole middle row in the Chapel.
All four sons , three daughters in law and three grand babies make for two very happy, and very proud parents.
On Christmas Eve we visited with this sweet lady, Dottie. She adores Linda and Brandon, and she might love the babies even more than Linda (ok maybe not, but close). She was so happy that we came so she could see the babies. We even managed to get the Cherry boys to sing a Christmas Carol (that was not easy though).

We re-enacted the Nativity Scene while Bob read the Christmas Story from Luke Chapter 2. It was adorable. Joseph (Cameron) was a bit exuberant in his love for Mary (Allyson) and baby Jesus (Katelyn). Mary did not want to wear her head shawl, at all.

I see many more of these at future Christmases. Linda has a great costume box that lead to these cute (and last minute) costumes.

Christmas Morning - gift opening

Allyson and Cameron worked better as a team, in fact they did better at opening each others presents instead of their own.

Allyson and Cameron both loved this C-clamp (not sure which boy got it in their stocking), they were always trying to play with it.

Playing with her new Tigger puppet.

I am sad we didn't get any pictures of the delicious Christmas dinner. Somehow we managed to have 4 cooks share the kitchen, preparing quite the Christmas feast. It was a wonderful day made even better surrounded by family.
