Ally has been talking about wanting to go to a Giants game and when she heard that Grandma and Papa were going to a game she was sad she couldn't go too. Grandma had the crazy idea to take Ally with them to the game, she called Uncle Wes and he made it all happen.
I woke Ally up early and asked her if she wanted to go to a Giants game (all the planning happened after she was in bed the night before), she jumped right up and got ready. She was a little sad that we still hadn't replaced her Giants shirt, but I loaned her my Giants hat to wear instead.
After a long day at the VA doctors office they met up with Uncle Wes and Aunt Sarah to get ready for the game. Sarah was kind enough to let Ally wear her Giants sweatshirt.
Ally was so excited that they got to take a train to the ballpark.
Sarah took Ally over to see the giant glove and to go down the Coke Bottle slide.
I'd say she was just a little excited.
Ally is one lucky girl who had a big adventure in the city. They got to watch a great game with Cueto pitching and the Giants beat the Rockies 2 to 0.
She came home full of stories about the things she got to do and the things she saw. She thought it was pretty neat that they rode the train to and from the ballpark and they even took an Uber from the train station to Uncle Wes' house. She thought it was funny how houses in San Francisco touch each other, and she was excited to tell Eva about the purple house she saw.
