Pumpkins

For home evening we headed out to Grandma's garden to pick out pumpkins.  It was a beautiful evening and the girls had fun in the garden.

Everyone found a pumpkin they loved and we picked a few extra.  Eva fell in love withe the little acorn shaped one.

These kids are pretty cute, and while it adds some craziness I am glad for traditions that remind us to to have a little fun.

We squeezed in a pumpkin carving night the last night daddy was home before Halloween.  Ally had so excited to carve her pumpkin.

She kept telling me she didn't want to touch the insides because they were gross, but she quickly changed her mind and had fun squishing the seeds and slime.

Eva didn't mind the slimy seeds either.

Ally was a little tired of pictures at this point and just wanted to run around.  These kids crack me up. We were all a little tired and ready for bedtime.

Grandma was smart enough to suggest we draw on some of the pumpkins .

This little guy didn't like being confined to his stroller but at least he was part of the fun!

Grandma surprised us the next night by finding one candle and some lights to light up our pumpkins.
