I am obviously a little late but I wanted to remember our Eva girl at 9 months.
She puts everything and anything in her mouth. Since she is more mobile it has gotten to be a constant problem. She finds the teeniest tiniest spec on the floor and immediately puts it in her mouth. She tried eating some hay during our family photoshoot (and in all honestly she probably did eat some). I am constantly checking her mouth, but sometimes she is just making funny faces as she checks out her teeth.
Speaking of teeth she still has 4 two on the tops (in fang formation) and two on the bottom, in the middle. I wish I could get a picture of her crazy smile, but it is rare I even get a peek at her teeth.
Tubby time is oh so very fun, she loves it.
At her doctor's appointment the silly girl had lost weight (not much, but some). Though she was so unhappy on the scale it was hard to get an accurate reading.
12-20-13 Ally made Eva laugh while we were in the car. Ally laughed and was being silly and started blowing raspberries. Eva did a belly laugh and started blowing raspberries back.
She is getting really good at waving goodbye, and Tiara just taught Eva how to give a high 5.
A few days before Christmas I noticed a little pimple like sore on Eva's leg, I wasn't too concerned because she has really sensitive skin and often gets little pimples. The day after Christmas I noticed it was suddenly looking red. We ended up going to the doctor on Friday and they put her on antibiotics and sent a sample to the lab. It came back positive for MRSA; not good, but very treatable. Now it is much better (though not gone). It amazes me how Eva has been happy through this whole ordeal, she hasn't even been grumpy while fighting this nasty infection. She is a tough girl!
The good news is that at each of her doctor visits she has gained weight, well above her 9 month check up (almost a pound in a week) so either the scale was off, or she packed on the weight! Either way she is our happy and (once again) healthy girl.
Today Eva officially started crawling the regular way, she still reverts back to army crawling after a few steps. It is so cute, but she is so much faster!
