Even though Allyson had already dyed Easter Eggs with her cousins we still dyed some more as a family. Allyson had lots of fun and she colored each of her eggs with a crayon before deciding which color to dye the egg. Love the whisk method!
Since we have late Church and since Marshall and Beth had to head back to the city Sunday we decided to have our Easter dinner on Saturday. Before dinner Allyson and Devin got to hunt for Easter Eggs.
All morning long Allyson had been so excited to go on a Bunny Hunt. I thought she was talking about the Curious George episode, but she was talking about finding the Easter Eggs. I had told her that the Easter Bunny would hide her eggs and she would go find them, so that was a bunny hunt to her.
Devin was a very skilled egg hunter, he even found the tricky ones the Bunny hid.
Allyson had a much different approach, she liked to inspect and critique each egg as she found it.
This egg took quite a while to find, it was sitting in the ivy on top of the fence, I think all the directions form the adults distracted her more than they helped her.
Enjoying the marshmallows. The eggs had jelly beans, marshmallows or fish crackers inside. They were a hit!
The egg hunters.
I promise they had fun, I don't think they wanted stop for the picture.
The Easter bunny left surprises in the mailbox. A Clifford Easter Book, bubbles and a fun ball.
Allyson trying to blow some bubbles.
Easter morning I woke Allyson up a little early so she could see what the Easter Bunny left in her basket before we had to get ready for church. She did not want to get up at all, once I got her to open her eyes she just wanted to snuggle with me. We kept her up too late on Saturday.
She was the most excited about her Dora fruit snacks, that bunny sure knows what she likes.
Another big hit was her mini magna doodle.
I love it too, this was the only toy needed to keep her quite for the entire Sacrament meeting. I loved it.
In her Easter Dress and Easter Hat.
Pepper wanted in the picture too.
I couldn't take enough pictures, she looked so cute.
The Bunny came and hid our real eggs for one more egg hunt. This is the post nap outfit and hair (well...attempted nap).
That silly Bunny even hid an egg in the Fig tree.
Checking out all her eggs.

That Easter dress is so cute! The nice thing about girls is the clothes that are so cute. Hope you have a Happy Spring.
Oh my. Her in that Easter dress and hat is to die for. Thanks again for the fun hunt and yummy dinner; Devin still can't stop talking about finding the eggs.
