Oregon Trip

Last weekend Allyson and I went on a trip to Oregon with my parents.  Steve wasn't able to join us, so we gladly carpooled.  I was a little nervous about how Ally would do for the long car ride.  The last time we did this trip she slept a lot more.  She is a really good traveler, and it doesn't hurt to have an large supply of DVDs, juice, books and snacks.

 We got a late start (we left after I got off work) but that helped us avoid the crazy snow storm near Mt. Shasta.  We ended up getting a hotel in Roseburg around 11pm, we were too tired to go on (and Allyson thought she only needed to nap in the car).

Friday night we had dinner at Buster's BBQ (or was it Bubbas?) and it was so good.

The ride home didn't get any shorter, but we had fun watching movies (maybe a few too many Baby Einstein Shows), reading books and practicing animal noises.
