Allyson has been wanting to use her spoons herself. She loves to try and feed herself with them. Here I let her get some practice in with Cheerios. While they don't stay on the spoon very well they also don't make a horrible mess when they go flying off the spoon.
I do admit to putting the Cheerio on the spoon for her, she isn't quite that coordinated yet.
She is just too cute.
She does get to practice with other foods, but I help her a lot more. I don't mind her wanting to be independent but I draw the line a baby food covered walls and floors.

I so know what you mean. At some point, we have to protect the floor, after all they are going to crawl all over it when they're done :). Miss you.
Erin,our little ally might be an artist..who needs paint anyway,food will do in a pinch.
