Allyson got to be in her very first parade today, and she loved it. My dad was the Grand Marshal of the parade and so all the grandkids rode with Grandma and Grandpa to kick off the parade (with Wes as chauffeur).
I wasn't sure if it would be too overwhelming for her or not (especially since the parade started at nap time) but she was happy, smiling and waving the whole time. Good things Middletown is a small town, the parade route isn't too long!
