Making Progress

I am so excited with the progress on our house, specifically the nursery. We have been doing a lot of work ever since we moved in. I was not very good at taking before pictures, but oh well.

Here is the nursery after we put up new drywall and replaced the broken sliding glass door with a window.

Here it is painted and with brand new carpet! I am loving it. You can see that there is a lot of decorating to do, but the hard labor is mostly done in this room.

There is our crib, yeah it is still in the box, but maybe this weekend we will get it put together, we were waiting for the carpet to be installed before we started on that.

We also got carpet in our living room. I have really come to appreciate carpet, it really makes a difference. Next on the agenda is the bathroom, stay tuned (I know you just can't wait.)

Well, I have to say that I preferred the bedroom in its original pink/purple shag that it had when it was my room, but I imagine that is hard to find now, so if you can't get that, this looks pretty good.

Good to see you have progressed beyond your Argentine cold tile floor. I was worried you had been drinking Mate and were thinking of leaving it sans carpet.
