One day while coloring Allyson asked me what color the cow should be. When I asked her what she thought she responded, "I don't know I am not an expert on cows. I am an expert on pigs and sheep but not cows." Ironically I think she has seen more cows than pigs and sheep combined!
12.2.13 Today Allyson asked to clean the toilet. This girl loves to clean! dusting, sweeping, wiping things down. I hope she will always want to clean everything.
12.4.13 As I was putting Eva to bed for the night Ally ran to the door and whispered "good night Eva". Then she said to me "I hope Eva has a good dream. A dream about Christmas!"

Yes Allyson has a side ponytail, she requested one and I was more than happy to deliver.
1.20.14 While looking at Steve's phone she said "daddy doesn't have a finger phone" I asked what a finger phone was, she explained it was one where you move things with your fingers (a smartphone).
In the car seat during happier times
3.1.14 On our way back from Oroville Eva decided she was done with about 45 minutes left of the drive. Ally was such a good sister, she handed Eva her toys one at a time trying to make Eva happy (each one bought about 1 minute of happiness). After she ran out of toys she got Eva to clap and tried to get her to laugh. Because of Ally we didn't have 45 minutes of crying, we made it home with just a few short bursts of crying.
3.5.14 Ally informed me she was texting Nana on her tinkerbell phone. After she finished texting she had a 10 minute "conversation" with Nana. I loved that this conversation was longer and more detailed than any real phone conversation she has had. It was hilarious.
