Eva has had a very busy month, this girl is growing up so fast! How is she almost 1? Our Eva girl is full of fun, laughs and as always some growling (seriously she likes to growl). I love to listen to her babbling, she has a lot to say.
The fangs are gone and she has 4 teeth on top and 2 on the bottom and she puts these teeth to work. She loves to eat, particularly finger food that she can feed herself. She will eat most anything (with the exception of avacado, my silly girls just don't appreciate it) but she certainly has her preferences. She loves her yogurt bites the best closely followed by any kind of pasta. Thankfully she also loves to eat fruits and veggies too.
Her she was riding the horsey at Grandma's house (it was a birthday present at my first birthday). Really she was just barely balancing on her own. When Ally was 1 she was scared to death of this very same horse, I am glad Eva isn't scared (though she has her Mr. Cool face on).
2.6.14 Eva started pulling herself up to a standing position and now she loves to stand up. I almost always find her standing up in her crib when she wakes up.
She can clap, it is pretty adorable.
Eva is surviving all the love her older sister gives her. While Ally always means well Eva does not appreciate the smothering hugs often bestowed upon her. As of now her only defense is her voice, which she uses quite forcefully. Just the other day I had to ban Ally from hugging Eva for the rest of the day. I couldn't take anymore of Eva's shrieking (Ally doesn't hurt her but Eva definitely prefers her space). Ally can't wait until she and Eva can share a room, she is already requesting bunk beds, particularly the top bunk (we are not even close to being ready for that).
Yay for the sippy cup! Eva is finally enjoying her sippy cup, it took quite a while but she will now drink from the sippy cup instead of throwing it!
